What is the Latticore Pillow?⌄

A pillow made entirely of moulded open grid, with nothing inside it. No foam, no gel, no cooling coating. Air moves through the structure instead of heat moving into a material, which is why there's no warm side that builds up under your head.

Why spend this after the last few didn't work?⌄

Reasonable question. Every cooling pillow you've bought was a coating over a solid core, and coatings fill up, which is why they all behaved the same way. This is a different object, not a better version of the same one. Moulded grid also costs more to make than cut foam. If it turns out to be the same story again, send it back inside 30 nights.

Product details+

Moulded TPE open grid, no fill of any kind. Removable knit cover. Side sleepers usually need more height than back sleepers, so check the loft against the pillow you own now.

Shipping and returns+

Free shipping. 30 nights to try it. If it's not right, return it for a full refund. We cover return shipping and you don't need the original packaging. 2-year warranty.

Care+

Zip off the cover and machine wash it cold. The grid itself you can rinse under the tap and leave to air dry. Nothing inside it absorbed anything, so there's not much to wash out. Keep it away from high heat.

What the first few weeks actually feel like

Honestly, less dramatic than you'd expect. Here's the sequence most people describe.

Nights 1-3

It feels strange. Firmer than foam, and it doesn't sink. Some people say it's the springiness they notice, not the temperature.

Nights 4-10

The strangeness goes. This is usually when people stop reaching for the cool edge, mostly because they forget to.

Week 3 onward

Nothing new happens. Which is the point. There's no stage where it fills up and stops working.

Looked like gimmick padding at first

“Had the gel pillow from the mattress store, the one with the cool-touch cover that went warm by midnight, and a shredded foam one I kept refilling. Expected another letdown. First two nights felt weird, corners stick up a bit and it makes a faint crinkle when I roll. Almost sent it back. Week three I realized I hadn't flipped it around 1am in days. Still not magic. Still warm on brutal August nights. But I don't wake up with a damp head anymore.”

Tried everything short of sleeping on a tile floor

“Previous list: Tempur cooling gel, Amazon ice-silk cover, a purple-looking dupe that smelled like chemicals. This one actually lets air through, push the grid and you feel it. Minus one star because it's louder than I expected when you adjust, and my husband asked what I was rustling on. Four months in. Got through August without the old sheet-flip routine.”

My husband noticed before I did

“I didn't buy this thinking it would change much. Hot sleeper, chronic pillow flipper, foot-out-of-the-covers person. About six weeks in my husband said I stopped kicking the duvet off. I hadn't even put that together. Still takes a minute to get used to the feel. Not soft like down. But I'm not waking up sticky anymore.”

The 2:47am flip is gone

“I'd wake up, flip the pillow, check my phone, repeat. Gel pillow, shredded foam, the free one from when we bought the mattress, same ending every time. Warm side, damp hair, stare at the ceiling. This doesn't stay cold. Nothing does in our house. I just don't wake up anymore. Weird for the first two nights. Fine now.”

120 days, still keeping it

“Corners look a bit odd when the case isn't zipped perfect. Makes a little noise. Heavier than my old pillow to shuffle around. Would change: maybe a thinner option for stomach nights. Still beats every cooling pillow I've owned because I can stay asleep through a warm night. Got through July without giving up.”

Fine, not life-changing

“Cooling is better than memory foam, worse than I hoped from the ads. The grid works, air actually moves. Took almost three weeks to stop noticing the texture. Partner hates the sound. I keep it because I sleep a bit better. Not sure it's worth full price if you're on a budget. Three stars because I'm still on the fence, not because it's bad.”

FAQ

Straight answers

No coating talk. No numbers we didn't measure. Just what this is and what it isn't.

How is this different from the cooling pillows I've already bought?
Almost certainly those cooled with a coating: a gel layer, a cool-touch cover, a treated fabric. Coatings work by absorbing heat, and anything absorbing eventually fills up. This is an open grid with nothing in it. Air moves through the structure instead of heat moving into a material.
Does it stay cool all night, or just at first?
There's nothing here to saturate, because there's nothing absorbing. That's the mechanism, and it's why the first twenty minutes aren't different from the rest. We're not going to attach an hour figure to it.
Has this been tested?
No. We haven't commissioned a thermal test, and as far as we can tell nobody in this category has published one. We're not printing a number we didn't measure.
Is there a cool side to flip to?
No. Air moves through the whole thing, so no warm face builds up on one side. There's nothing to flip from.
What does it feel like?
Firm and springy rather than sinking. Most people say it's strange for the first two or three nights, then normal. If you've slept on memory foam your whole life, expect an adjustment.
Does it make noise?
A little, when you move. It's a structure, not a solid block. Most people stop noticing; some don't.
I'm just a hot sleeper. Will anything work?
Maybe not. This won't cool a warm room and it won't change how your body runs. It removes one specific thing, which is heat building up in the pillow under your head. That's the 60-night trial's job to settle, not ours.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under the tap and let it air dry. No cover to wash separately, nothing to absorb what you'd be washing out.
What if it doesn't work for me?
60 nights to try it, returns included, 2-year warranty. No conditions past that.
Does it flatten over time?
It's moulded structure, not foam, so it doesn't soften with body heat the way foam does. We've been selling it for eight months, which is the honest limit on what we can tell you.
